There’s that moment when most parents start really taking a close look at their child’s teeth and wondering if everything is going to develop just right. Maybe the teeth are a bit too close together, or the bite doesn’t look quite right. Sometimes a pediatric dentist will recommend getting an orthodontic check-up to see what’s going on. Whatever it is that’s got you wondering, listening to that nagging feeling early on is usually a good call, and we’re here to help you figure out what’s going on, and what if anything might need to happen next. Zoom Teeth Whitening delivers fast, professional whitening results in just one visit. Many patients choose Zoom Teeth Whitening to brighten their smile safely and effectively. It’s an ideal option for special events or anyone seeking immediate improvement.

We really enjoy having younger patients here at Ortho360, and it’s something that gets us pretty excited and brings us a lot of joy. The work we do at the right moment in their development can make a serious difference in how their smile looks and works for the rest of their life. With children, their teeth and jaw are still in the process of growing and we have a number of ways to influence that process while it’s still developing, which is not an option once everything has settled into place. Our Before & After results showcase real transformations and confident new smiles. Viewing Before & After photos helps patients visualize what’s possible with personalized orthodontic care. Each Before & After tells a story of progress, precision, and lasting results.

We usually recommend that kids first see an orthodontist around the age of seven. By then enough of their permanent teeth have come in so we have a good idea of what’s going on and whether there are any potential problems that should be addressed. Often we find that a youngster isn’t quite ready for treatment yet and we simply keep an eye on things over time. When that’s the case we’re upfront about it, and we don’t offer treatment unless it’s really needed.

If you’re looking for a kids orthodontist in Austin, we’d love to have you here. In lots of ways this clinic was actually designed with families in mind. We know that bringing a kid to the orthodontist isn’t the same as bringing an adult, so we adapt everything accordingly. From how we communicate with you to the pace at which we move, to the way our space is set up, we’re thinking about how to keep younger patients feeling relaxed and not squirming with anxiety. Kids are super aware of the energy in the room and we do our best to keep it calm and welcoming.

We also make sure that parents are fully informed at every visit. When we take a look at your kid’s teeth, we walk you through what we see in plain language, give our thoughts and explain the options in a way that makes sense, so you can make decisions with confidence. We hate for a parent to leave an appointment without being 100% clear on what was said or what comes next. We value open communication, and we believe that’s just as important when you’re just getting started as it is when you’re in the middle of treatment.

When it’s time to do some actual therapy, we help families get a realistic understanding of what that means in real terms, including what treatment will actually entail, how long it will take, what it will mean for your kid on a day to day basis, and what the costs will look like. We also go over the different treatment options so you can make a decision based on the real facts, not just assumptions.

We’re proud to be a part of the Austin community, and we’re really honoured when families trust us enough to bring their kids to see us. If you’re looking for an orthodontist in Austin who really knows how to care for younger kids, then we’d love to meet your family. Get in touch and we’ll help you take that first step in a way that feels easy and stress-free from the very beginning.
